About Us

We started E-I-E-I-O Babygear because we couldn't find a simple-to-use, attractive, comfortable baby carrier for our newborn son at an affordable price. After a few less-than-successful attempts at sling making, we finally hit upon a carrier that was a snap to use, comfortable for us and our baby, compact enough to fit in a diaper bag, and adorable to boot. Of course, we had to share this new product with friends who were also becoming happy but exhausted new parents. Having been the grateful recipients of our slings, and later our large-enough-to-be-useful swaddling blankets, these enthusiastic friends urged us to go into business. Our slings, blankets, pillows, and other products are all handmade in New England, and because we're parents too and actually use our products, we can guarantee that they work! We're also always happy to accommodate special requests for sizes or fabrics, and we welcome feedback about any of our items (send feedback to kevans@eieiobabygear.com). We have several ideas for new products in the works, so stay tuned for more excitement from E-I-E-I-O Babygear.
