Les Oursons French for Kids

Welcome to the online resource for Les Oursons French class. Kids 3–6 years old get an introduction to French in a fun, games-oriented environment. We use songs, games, and stories to learn French in a weekly 45 min class. Studies show that early exposure to a second language increases kids’ abilities to learn other languages – and even math! – later in life, so even if you don’t know whether your child will continue to explore French after this class, there can be benefits. Plus, it’s fun!

Cost and details

You may purchase six or ten classes at once and use them as your schedule permits (there is no charge for missed classes). The instructor is fluent in French and has experience teaching French to young children in her home. Cost is $80 for ten classes or $54 for six classes. Parents may sign up for the first class on a trial basis; the full session’s tuition will then be due at the second class. Parents may drop off and pick up students or stay for the class. If younger children who cannot participate in the class will be attending, parents have the option of playing with their younger child in an adjacent room.

No previous French experience on the part of the child or parent is required.
